What makes a visionary create incredible things? What makes a person set out to build a home based business to turn their passion into an income or grow a small businesses into one that becomes incredibly lucrative and supports entire teams?
I have found there are two approaches to
being successful and turning your business ideas into reality, and these
two approaches need to come together if you want to succeed.
Believe to See
Before you can turn any idea into
something that makes a profit, you need to believe in it. You need to
have the passion, ambition and drive it takes to make the business work,
and that all starts with believing in an idea and believing in
yourself.
As you start to picture your “perfect
business” and the ideal work-life balance, you begin to believe in a
vision of what your life could be like. You can see it being played out
and imagine how your life will be different.
In many cases, this involves identifying
your “why,” or the driving force that spurs you to pursue your business
in the first place. Knowing why you want to start a business or begin a
network marketing career can help you picture the end result.
For example, if your “why” is to have ultimate freedom of money, you need to believe that that kind of freedom is possible, and that you have the power to make it happen.
The key moment comes when these beliefs
all lead up to being able to see how to make your business work for you.
When you believe in your vision, in the life you could have as a
business owner and a lifestyle that helps you achieve your “why,” you
will start to see this reality take shape.
This will require a good business idea,
strategic planning, hard work, and dedication, but a business that
allows you to earn more while working less all starts with belief in
your vision.
See then Believe
“Believing to see” leads to “seeing and
then believing.” As your business begins to take shape and you start to
see how your vision is becoming a reality, you will believe in your
vision even more.
Your ideas and goals will become more
real, as you get a taste of what it is like to make your business
successful. I’ve seen many business leaders who see success before
others can. This glimpse gives them the energy and drive they need to
make their business even more successful, even as things are still
taking shape.
When I decided to go into business for
myself, I saw a vision of what my life could be like once my business
was successful. I made a strategic decision to take my business profits
and re-invest it into income properties. Now I have multiple income
streams from my business and from my real estate properties. My husband
and I now have the time to do what we want, are mortgage free and are
living the freedom lifestyle.
This kind of foresight is contagious, and
as you bring your vision, passion and determination to your team,
others will catch your vision and see what you see, helping your
business become more successful.
The Seeing and Believing Cycle
At the end of the day, both of these
theories work hand in hand and form a cycle of action. Whether you start
by believing and then seeing or you see your vision and then believe in
your success, you will need to both see and believe in your business
ideas to be an effective business leader.
Part of this cycle of seeing and
believing is creating a strategic business plan that helps you
effectively make your business ideas come to fruition and become
lucrative.
